Special Delivery service was introduced on March 3rd 1885 to provide expedited U.S. mail delivery. On July 12th 1922 a motorcycle replaced the bicycle previously featured on Special Delivery stamps. The stamp featured on this attractive authentic collectible tin box is from 1944.
